Pune: MHADA Recruitment Process Provisional Result Announced, Investigation Into Malpractice Ongoing

Pune, 16th September 2022: The result of the recruitment process conducted by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has been announced. It was revealed that there was malpractice in this recruitment process. But, as the results and selection have been announced the candidates are relieved.
The recruitment process for 565 posts in 14 technical and non-technical cadres under MHADA Saral Seva Bharati 2021 has begun online. The exam was conducted in January and February. However, the MPSC coordination committee filed a police complaint alleging malpractices in the examination. As an investigation by the police revealed malpractice, a re-exam had to be done. But the candidates were waiting for the exam result will be announced. The result was announced in this background.
The selection list and waiting list are announced subject to verification of caste validity certificate, certificates submitted by candidates under parallel reservation, experience certificate, and educational certificate. Therefore, it was also mentioned that this list is provisional.
“A complaint was lodged that malpractice had taken place in the MHADA recruitment examination. Investigation revealed that 63 candidates were involved in the malpractice. MHADA should take action to file a case against them. Now the final list will be announced after verifying the candidates in the selection list. But it is important that honest candidates get justice,” Nilesh Gaikwad, Competitive Examination Coordination Committee, said.
