Pune: Minor Girl Allegedly Raped in Lonavala, Case Registered
Lonavala, 21st June 2025: A shocking incident has emerged from Lonavala in Pune district, where a minor girl was allegedly raped, sending shockwaves through the local community. The Lonavala Rural Police have registered a case against Ramesh Ramdas Waghmare, a resident of Tikona Peth, Maval, following a complaint filed by the victim’s mother.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred between 5th and 10th May. The accused, Waghmare, reportedly called the minor girl to his home and sexually assaulted her. The matter came to light when the girl’s mother approached the authorities, prompting swift action from law enforcement.
