Pune: Minor Girl Kidnapped And Gang-raped, Two Out Of Four Accused Arrested
Pune, October 30, 2020: In yet another shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by four of her friends in the Hadapsar area. Police have arrested two suspects and are searching for others.
The incident come to light when the minor girl showed incredible grit and presence of mind and managed to escape from the clutches of the rapists after two days.
According to police, the 15-year-old victim girl argued with her parents and decided to meet a friend. One of the accused met her on the street. He told her that he knows her relatives and offered to take her at a friend’s place. However, she was taken to an unidentified place and raped for two days. The accused raped her and called his friends as well to join him.
The minor girl informed that four persons raped her for two days in a row. Fortunately, the girl escaped from the clutches of these men in the middle of the night.
On the next day in the morning, the girl took the help of a stranger and told him the entire traumatizing events. The good samaritan immediately rushed the girl to the Hadapsar Police station.
Considering the seriousness of the incident, police immediately rushed the girl to Sassoon Hospital for treatment.
After this, the cops promptly started searching for the accused. Police have managed to nab the two suspects on Thursday night after a thorough investigation.
An FIR has been registered against the accused persons for offences under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), and sections related to kidnapping and rape under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
