Pune, 16th September 2022: A minor girl was sexually assaulted and left four months pregnant. The girl’s mother has filed a complaint at Haveli Police Station on Sinhagad Road, and the police have arrested the accused. Shockingly, information has come to light that the accused is also a minor.
A young boy working in a garage in front of the minor girl’s house in the Haveli police station limits of the Pune Rural Police area lured the girl into a love trap on the pretext of friendship. The 10th-standard girl is now four months pregnant after being repeatedly sexually assaulted by the minor boy. As the girl’s mother got suspicious, she asked the girl in confidence, and the girl informed the mother about this. This was a shock to the wage earner of the family.
The Haveli Police Station got information about the girl after her family admitted her to the hospital as her condition worsened. Under the guidance of police inspector Sadashiv Shelar, female police sub-inspector Rutuja Mohite went to the hospital and took the statement of the girl’s mother, and a complaint has been filed.
