Pune : Minor Girls Leave House To Join Dance Club From South Korea, Reunited With Family By Police

Pune 31st August 2023: The Pune City Police with the help of Mumbai Police have reunited two minor girls aged 13 years with their families after they left their homes in the city to join a dance club in South Korea. Both girls studying in the Class VIII at a school in Vishrantwadi were fascinated by a dance club from South Korea and wanted to join it.

However, since the girls did not have money they were waiting for a right moment to leave their houses in Pune. As they were aware that their families will not allow them leave India to join the dance club they decided not to inform the family members and left their houses on Sunday with Rs 500 one of them was given by her grandmother to purchase medicines from a medical.

Both girls reached Pune Railway Station and took train to Mumbai from there. After reaching Mumbai one of them thought of informing grandmother and dialed her number using a taxi driver’s mobile. Meanwhile, the grandmother had already lodged a missing complaint with Vishrantwadi Police Station in the matter. Acting swiftly on the matter, the local police contacted the taxi driver and took his help to trace the girls in Mumbai.

The driver considering the seriousness of the matter traced the girls and took them to Matunga Police Station in Mumbai. The Pune Police team coordinated with the Mumbai police and brought the girls back to Pune and reunited them with their family.
