Pune: Minors Caught Stealing Expensive Car Batteries In Dhankawadi, Ambegaon Areas
Pune, 7th December 2022: Two minors were detained by the Bharati Vidyapeeth police. Three expensive batteries and a two-wheeler have been seized from them. They confessed to stealing batteries from expensive cars from Ambegaon and Dhankawadi areas.
Assistant Police Inspector Amol Rasal and Sub-Inspector Dheeraj Gupta of Bharati Vidyapeeth police station were patrolling the area. At that time, policemen Mitesh Chormole, Abhinay Chaudhary, and Ashish Gaikwad received the information that two minors were preparing to sell batteries in Ambegaon. The team laid a trap and detained them. During interrogation, they confessed to stealing the batteries.
The operation was carried out by a team under the supervision of Senior Police Inspector Srihari Bahirat and Assistant Police Inspector Amol Rasal.
