Pune: MLC Yogesh Tilekar’s Uncle Kidnapped in Broad Daylight at Hadapsar
Pune, 9th December 2024: A shocking incident of abduction unfolded on Monday morning as Satish Satba Wagh, the 58-year-old maternal uncle of MLC Yogesh Tilekar, was kidnapped at Fursungi Phata in the Hadapsar area.
Wagh, a resident of Fursungi on the Saswad-Pune Road, had stepped out for his routine morning walk around 6:30 am when he was intercepted by four to five men in a car. The group reportedly threatened Wagh before forcibly abducting him and fleeing towards Saswad Road.
The abduction was witnessed by a passerby, who later reported the incident to the authorities. Following the report, a complaint was registered at Hadapsar Police Station.
Police are investigating the motive behind the kidnapping, including potential financial disputes or personal enmity. Senior Police Inspector Santosh Pandhare of Hadapsar Police Station is overseeing the investigation.
