Pune: MNGL Gas Pipeline Bursts In Wakad
Wakad, 29th April 2023: While the road work was going on in Wakad this morning, an MNGL pipeline ruptured resulting in a gas leak. Gas supply was stopped after immediately contacting MNGL. Hence, a big accident was avoided.
Also, due to the immediate shutdown of the gas line, there was no need of fire brigade.
Due to the rupture of this pipeline, there has been a gas leak and around 300 societies and 3,000 flats in Wakad area have not been supplied with gas since morning. There is no gas supply in the houses of Datt Mandir Road, Kala Khadak, Venu Nagar, Kaveri Nagar etc in Utkarsh Nagar.
