Pune: MNS Appeals Maharashtra Government To Allow People With Both Doses Of Vaccine To Celebrate Ganeshotsav

Pune, 21 August 2021: For the second consecutive year, Ganeshotsav is under threat due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has demanded to allow the celebration of Ganeshotsav to those who have taken two doses of vaccine.
MNS in its request made to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray mentioned that the government has allowed those who have taken two doses of vaccine in malls, local train journeys and at various other places. Similarly, the government should allow celebrating Ganeshotsav to those who have completed their vaccine course.
“Medical research also has suggested that people who have taken two doses are at less risk of contracting the virus. Likewise, it will also revive the allied business like the sculptors, transporters. It will revive the businesses as well as kindle hope among the Ganesh devotees”, MNS stated in its request.
