Pune: Mobile Phone Usage Banned Amidst Growing Devotee Crowd At Bhimashankar Temple
Pune, 8th August 2023: A throng of devoted worshippers has converged upon Shree Kshetra Bhimashankar, one of the twelve revered Jyotirlingas nestled within the Pune district, Maharashtra. The congregation has swelled in the auspicious month of Shravan, with expectations of further escalation during the subsequent Shravan phase. In light of these circumstances, authorities have enacted a prohibition on mobile device usage within the temple precincts.
To mitigate crowding within the inner sanctum, primary hall, and temple premises during the course of Shravan, visitors are advised against using mobile phones for photography or filming, the temple administration has urged. This directive aims to safeguard the comfort of devotees, facilitate uninterrupted spiritual observance, avert any potential untoward incidents, and uphold the temple’s sanctified ambiance.
Despite these appeals, any contravention involving mobile phone use or photography within the temple compound will attract corrective action, as mentioned by the temple administration.
