Pune: Moneylenders Detain Woman To Extort Money From Her Husband

Pune, 2nd September 2022: A case has been registered by the Chandannagar police station against moneylenders who extort money from women.

The case was registered against Shubham Dhananjay Jadhav (23), a resident of Ambedkar Vasahat, Baramati and Ashish Ashok Gaikwad, a resident of Mundhwa.

 

A young man has filed a complaint at Chandannagar police station. The complainant youth borrowed Rs 20,000 from Jadhav and Gaikwad at 10 percent interest per month. The youth had paid Rs 32,500 to the accused along with interest and principal.

The accused then started threatening the youth for money. The accused detained the youth’s wife in their office in the Sainath Nagar area of Vadgaon Sherry. The youth was threatened and asked to send money immediately. The youth sent Rs 20,000 to the accused online. After paying the money, the accused released the wife of the complainant youth.

 

A case was registered in this matter after the frightened youth lodged a complaint with the police. Assistant Police Inspector Golande is investigating
