Pune, 13th September 2021: This year only 85,518 students applied for online admission for class XI against the 1.12 lakh seats. And out of those 85,518, only 77,986 students have locked the applications. Therefore, more than 27,000 seats are expected to remain vacant this year as well.

For class XI admission there are 1.12 lakh seats available in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad City. An admission process is going on for the junior colleges in these cities. The third round of admission is in process, but the number of students who applied for the admission is less in number compared to the availability of the seats. It is expected that this year, more than 27,000 seats will remain vacant. On the other hand, there seems to be a tough competition for admission to popular colleges in these cities.

Meanwhile, the list of the third round of admissions will be announced on 23 September. It was expected that the cut-off for class XI would increase this year due to the record result of class X. But the result of the 10th did not show much difference in the ‘cut-off’.

The selection list for the third round of the 11th admission will be announced on Monday. Meanwhile, the attention of the students who could not get admission in the first second round and did not get the college of their choice has turned to the admission list in the third round of admission.
