Pune: Mother and Boyfriend Arrested for Killing Toddler Hindering Immoral Relationship

Khadki, 6th March 2023: A shocking incident has been revealed in which the mother of a pregnant girl, who was trying to obstruct an immoral relationship, was killed by her lover.
The Khadki police have arrested the mother, Lakshmi (32) and her boyfriend Santosh Devman Jamnik (31) in connection with the murder of their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Samiksha. Lakshmi, a resident of Akola, had fled to Pune with Samiksha to meet Santosh, who resides in Khirpuri Budruk, district Balapur, district Akola, a few months ago.
After living with Santosh in the Dapodi area for a week, the couple decided to kill Samiksha, as she was hindering their immoral relationship. They left her body in the Khadki area and fled. The police were able to detain and arrest the accused based on the CCTV footage obtained from the area.
Lakshmi’s husband was an addict, and she had a romantic relationship with Santosh. The accused had been staying in the village, while Lakshmi had left her husband and had come to Pune with her daughter. The police investigation was conducted under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Vishnu Tamhane of Khadki Police Station.
