Pune: Multi-Vehicle Collision Causes Traffic Disruption near Balewadi Stadium
Balewadi, 26th February 2024: This evening, at approximately 7 PM, a collision involving multiple vehicles occurred near Balewadi Stadium, heading towards the Mumbai lane.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with the accident. The vehicles involved lost control, resulting in an impact that caused traffic congestion on the Mumbai lane.
M K Adling, Assistant Police Inspector from the Hinjawadi Traffic Branch, explained that the incident unfolded when one vehicle abruptly lost control, triggering a chain reaction of collisions among other vehicles.
Despite the commotion, there have been no reported injuries, and the traffic on the highway has been restored to normal functioning. Adling advised motorists to exercise caution and drive carefully to ensure road safety.
