Pune Municipal Corporation Enhances Heritage Walk Experience with Headphones for Participants
Pune, 8th June 2023: In a bid to provide an enriching experience to participants, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has made special arrangements for 30 headphones during the upcoming heritage walk scheduled for June 11, 2023. The heritage walk, spanning from Shanivarwada to Vishrambaugwada, aims to offer visitors a captivating journey through the historical streets of Pune while providing informative insights along the way.
Sunil Mohite, the Executive Engineer of the Heritage Department at PMC, emphasized the importance of the headphones during the heritage walk. He stated, “As the heritage walk guides participants through bustling streets that are often crowded with traffic, clear communication becomes crucial. To ensure that visitors receive every detail shared by our knowledgeable guides, PMC has arranged for 30 headphones exclusively for the upcoming heritage walk on June 11.”
The heritage walk has garnered immense popularity among Punekars and tourists alike, evident from the overwhelming number of registrations received thus far. This initiative, undertaken by PMC, aims to showcase the historical significance of the 11 renowned structures located between Shaniwarwada and Vishrambagwada.
Scheduled to commence at 7 am on June 11, participants are required to report to the designated meeting point, Dilli Darwaza, Shanivarwada, by 6:50 am. Interested individuals can register for the event at the official website: https://heritagewalk.pmc.gov.in/.
