Pune: Murder Mystery Of Woman And Her Son Continues, Her Husband Still Missing

Pune, 16th June 2021: The officials from Pune city police are yet to trace the man whose wife and son were found murdered in different places on Tuesday. Seven teams are working on the case.
As per the FIR registered with Bharati Vidyapeeth police station, Abid Sheikh, a native of Madhya Pradesh, who lived in Pride World City near Lohegaon, is missing. His wife Aliya (35) was found murdered near Khalad village on Jejuri-Saswad Road, while the body of their son Ayan (6), an autistic kid, was found at Dari Pul near Katraj.
According to DCP (Zone 2) Sagar Patil, Abid worked with an insurance company, while his wife had quit her job to look after their son. They had also hired a home tutor for the son. Abid had hired a car to go for an outing. However, they have been incommunicado since Monday night.
According to police, since June 11 they have been going out and returned to the housing society. They didn’t return after going out on Monday. The hired car was parked near City Pride theatre on Pune-Satara road around 1.15 am on Tuesday. A person is seen walking towards Swargate from there. However, it is not confirmed if he is Abid.
