Pune–Nagpur Superfast Special to Depart on January 23 to Ease Weekend Rush; Bookings Open

Pune, 22nd January 2026: To clear the extra rush of passengers during the weekend, Central Railway will operate a Superfast Special train between Pune and Nagpur on special charges.

According to Central Railway, Train No. 01467/01468 Pune–Nagpur–Pune Superfast Special will run one trip in each direction. Train No. 01467 Pune–Nagpur Special will depart from Pune at 15:50 hrs on Friday, January 23, 2026, and arrive at Nagpur at 06:30 hrs the following day. The return service, Train No. 01468 Nagpur–Pune Special, will depart from Nagpur at 08:00 hrs on Saturday, January 24, 2026, and reach Pune at 23:30 hrs the same day.

The special train will halt at Uruli, Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Ankai, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon, and Wardha.

In terms of composition, the train will have a total of 20 LHB coaches, comprising two AC 2-Tier coaches, four AC 3-Tier coaches, eight Sleeper Class coaches, four General Second Class coaches, one Generator Van, and one Guard Brake Van.

Reservation for Train No. 01467 on special charges will open on January 22, 2026, at 18:00 hrs at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) locations and on the IRCTC website. Bookings for Train No. 01468 on special charges will open on January 23, 2026, at PRS locations and on the IRCTC website.

Railway officials said that the General Second Class and Guard/Luggage Van coaches in the special train will operate as unreserved coaches. Tickets for these coaches will be available through the UTS system with normal unreserved charges applicable for Superfast Mail/Express trains.

Passengers have been advised to plan their journeys and book tickets in advance.
