Pune: Nearly Rs 5.20 Lakh Siphoned Fron Teachers’ Provident Fund In Moledina High School

Camp, 27th July 2022: An incident of embezzlement of the provident fund of teachers and non-teaching staff working in Abdul Wahid and Moledina English School in the Camp area has come to light. Between March 2016 and July 2018, an amount of Rs five lakh 19 thousand 616 has been robbed by a person working in the accounting department of the school. In this case, a case under section 409, 417 of IPC has been registered in Lashkar police stations.

The accused has been identified as Tulshiram Maruti Ursal (60), a resident of Baner, Pashan Road. Nasima Ayub Khan (57), a resident of Sathyapuram Society, Fursungi has filed a complaint in this matter.
According to the information given by the police, the accused Tulshiram Ursal was working in Abdul Wahid and Moldina English School. He was given the responsibility of paying the provident fund amount of teachers and non-teaching staff working in this school to the provident fund office.
He took an amount of Rs five lakh 19 thousand 616 received by the school management from March 2016 to July 2018. But this amount was not deposited in the provident fund offices. It has been mentioned in the complaint that this amount was embezzled by the accused for his own benefit. Further investigation is being conducted by Police Sub-Inspector Vijay Bansude.
