Pune: Nibe Limited Fosters MSME Growth for an Atmanirbhar Indian Defence Sector at Inaugural Maharashtra MSME Defence Expo 2024

Pune, 24th February 2024: Nibe Limited, a pioneering name in manufacturing critical systems for the defence sector, showcased its defence capabilities at the first edition of the Maharashtra MSME Defence Expo 2024 today at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Aligning with its goal of making India self-reliant in the defence sector, the product line displayed at the event highlighted the brand’s vision to establish a dynamic forum to encourage investment and MSMEs in the industry.

 

The event was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Gangadharrao Fadnavis, in presence of, Minister for Industries Maharashtra, Uday Samant; Higher and Technical Education Minister, Maharashtra  Chandrakant Patil and Harshdeep Kamble, Principal Secretary, Industries and Mining, Maharashtra among others. Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari also visited the expo and shared his insights and experiences.

 

With over 500+ MSMEs participating and 10,000 students visiting the groundbreaking event proved to be a significant platform for investors and stakeholders to explore mutually beneficial opportunities. Enhancing its strength and vision of self-reliant Indian defence sector, Nibe Limited also signed an MoU with the Munitions India Limited (MIL) for the manufacturing of small arms for export. The event also witnessed presence of Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, PVSM, AVSM, VM, ADC.

The Defence category included Modular bridge, Pinaka launcher, MRSAM, Canister, Fin, small arms, mortar shells and Propeller components. The Electronic display has a line-up of Drones, Ruggedised Panel PCs with Consoles, Fuel cells, Ethernet switches, MDP+LVJB+JC+PDU (modular bridge) and communication equipment. Adding to the range, the Electronic Vehicle category showcases – power train on chassis, power train differential, motor, controller, gearbox, E-Rickshaws (3 passengers, 3 loadings), E-Bicycle (4), and garbage e-vehicle (four-wheeler).
