Pune: No Electricity In Hadapsar, Mundhwa Areas On Thursday, MSEDCL To Replace Transformer

Pune, 21st September 2021: Power supply to some parts of Hadapsar, Mundhwa area will be cut off from 8 am to 6 pm on Thursday (September 23) due to pre-planned work to replace a large 10 MVA power transformer at Henley substation under Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) Bundgarden division.

 

According to MSEDCL, the 25-year-old power transformer has malfunctioned and needs to be replaced. A new power transformer has been made available and its installation will be done on Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm. For this, the power supply of all 13 high voltage power lines in this substation will have to be cut off.

 

In this regard, advance information is being given to the consumers registered with MSEDCL. The hospitals have also been informed about the temporary arrangement of power supply through generators.

 

Due to pre-planned work, electricity will not be available in Vaiduwadi, Gosavi Vasti, Mantri Market, Kamadhenu Estate, Ramtekdi Estate, Magarpatta Road, Subhash Nagar, Shankarmath, Hadarsar Industrial Estate, Laxminagar, Safe Colony, St. Patrick’s Town, SV Nagar.

 

MSEDCL has requested the consumers to cooperate during this period.
