Pune: No Water Supply In Pimpri Chinchwad City On Thursday Evening To Friday Morning – PCMC
Pimpri Chinchwad, 12th June 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad municipal corporation (PCMC) has announced scheduled repairs for the sewage treatment plant in Ravet, the water treatment plant in Nigdi, and the water distribution system in the city. As a result, there will be disruptions in the water supply to the Pimpri Chinchwad city. The water supply department has informed that the supply will be stopped on Thursday evening and will remain disrupted on Friday morning.
The repairs will primarily focus on electrical work at the sewage treatment plant in Ravet, as well as regular maintenance and repair of electricity and water supply at the Water Purification Center in Sector 23 Nigdi. Additionally, the water distribution system in the city will also undergo repairs.
To minimize inconvenience, the regular water supply to Pimpri-Chinchwad on Thursday morning (15th June) will be provided as usual. However, the supply will be halted in the evening, leading to irregular and low-pressure water supply on Friday morning (16th June). In light of this, the municipal corporation has appealed to citizens to use water sparingly during this period.
