Pune: No water supply in the city on Friday

Pune, January 06, 2021: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to initiate repair work at the Parvati plant on Friday. As a result, most parts of the city will not have water supply on Friday.
The PMC usually carries out its repair work on Thursdays, but due to the pleas of several corporators who said that the city has several marriages on Thursday, the repair work has been shifted to be carried out on Friday.
The PMC’s press release says that the water supply will be restored on Saturday though it may be of low pressure. It has also said that the repair work is urgent and thus, water supply will be affected.
