RTO: Calling upon all who wish to procure attractive vehicle numbers as per their liking

Pimpri, January 6, 2021: If owners of private four-wheeler vehicles want an attractive and preferred number in the newly launched number series, they are requested to pay the prescribed fee (triple fee) and apply in the prescribed form on January 7, 2021, during office hours from 11 am to 2.30 pm,  appealed Deputy Regional Transport Officer (RTO) of Pimpri Chinchwad.

To reserve an attractive registration number for transport vehicles, one can apply in the prescribed format on 11 January 2021 during office hours from 11 am to 2.30 pm. The above application should be submitted in the new registration department of the office along with DD, proof of address, Aadhaar card, identity card, attested copy of PAN card. DD of a Nationalized / Scheduled Bank in the name of DY RTO PIMPRI CHINCHWAD should be from Pune.

The applicant should have an attested photo and proof of address with the application. The list of private four-wheelers will be posted on the office notice board on January 8. If the applicants in the list want to submit the DD amount for auction, they should submit it in a sealed envelope to the office by 2.30 pm on the same day and at 3.30 pm on the same day, they must open the envelope in the room of the Deputy Regional Transport Officer in front of the eligible person. Preference numbers will be distributed.

The list of transport vehicles will be posted on the office notice board on January 11. The DD should be deposited in the sealed envelope by 2.30 pm on the same day and at 3.30 pm on the same day the envelope should be opened in front of the eligible person in the room of the Deputy Regional Transport Officer and the preferred number should be distributed to the applicant. A receipt should be taken from the office on the fifth day after receiving the message of reservation of vehicle number on mobile.

Once registered, the registration number cannot be changed. If the vehicle is not submitted for registration within 30 days after the number is retained, the retained number will be automatically canceled and the fee will be credited to the government. The Deputy Regional Transport Officer, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune has also informed in a press release that the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
