Pune: Now Pimpri Chinchwad Police Registers FIR Against Kiran Gosavi

Pune, 12th November 2021: A 33-year-old man named Vijay Kumar Siddhaling Kanade a resident of Chakrapani Vasahat, Bhosari, and a native of Latur has lodged a complaint against Kiran Gosavi at the Bhosari police station on Thursday evening, alleging that he took money under the pretext of getting him a job abroad in 2015. Gosavi has allegedly defrauded Rs 2 lakh 25,000 in a bid to get a job in hotel management in Brunei.

 

According to police, Kanade was looking for a job in 2015. He had applied for it online. On 21st March 2015, a mail was received from Shiva International regarding the job on the mail ID of the complainant. The mail stated that he had been selected for a hotel management job abroad. He immediately sent his biodata.

 

Acquiring Kanade’s trust, he met him at Nashik Fata Kasarwadi and took Rs. 30,000 in cash. After that, on April 5, 2015, Kanade paid Rs. 40,000 to Kiran Gosavi at the office of Shiva International, Majiwada, Thane.

 

According to Gosavi, Kanade sent Rs 20,000 to a bank account. Kanade went to Gosavi’s Thane office for a medical examination and paid Rs 10,000.

 

From time to time, Kanade paid a total of Rs 2 lakh 25 thousand to the accused  Gosavi for various reasons. Gosavi allegedly defrauded Kanade of money.

 

Assistant Police Inspector Gokul Mahajan said, “Investigation is underway and the accused will be arrested.”

 

Pune City police has already registered FIRs against Gosavi at Faraskhana, Lashkar and Wanowrie police stations for similar cheating cases.

 

Gosavi is currently under custody of Lashkar police station.
