219 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 39,433 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 12th November 2021: A total of 219 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 243 people were discharged from hospitals. 03 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 39,433 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,23,39,668. About 79,03,403 people have got the first dose while 44,36,265 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 2123 active patients in the district and 1195 of them are admitted to hospitals while 928 are in home isolation. Out of 219 new cases, 86 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 34 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 16 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 05 in cantonments, and 78 in rural areas.
Among the 03 deaths, one was in Pune Municipal Corporation ( PMC), one was in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 243 discharged patients, 67 were in PMC, 37 were in PCMC, 18 were in municipal councils, 06 were in cantonments, and 115 were in rural areas.
