Pune: Nyati Chesterfield Implements Solar Energy, Rainwater Harvesting, and Compost Projects
Undri, 29th September 2025: Nyati Chesterfield CHS Ltd, located near Country Club, Undri, reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability by commissioning a 32.4 kWp solar energy plant, alongside rainwater harvesting (RWH) and a compost facility for kitchen and garden waste.
The solar plant, originally envisaged in 2016, has been implemented through Solar Square Energy Pvt Ltd. With a generation capacity of 105 units per day and an annual output of 38,400 units, the project is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 32.3 tonnes annually.
Members of Nyati Chesterfield actively participated in the event, including Chairman Aashutosh Srivastava and Secretary Sunil Aiyer, along with the Solar Square team. The occasion was further graced by the Chairmen and Secretaries of Nyati Serenity and Nyati Exotica, showing support for the initiative.
“This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to ensure a clean and sustainable environment,” said the society management. “By implementing renewable energy, rainwater harvesting, and waste composting projects, we aim to contribute positively to the community and reduce our environmental footprint.”
The society also highlighted the need for continued support from the Pune Municipal Corporation and other authorities. “Residents in many areas have been lacking basic amenities such as water and roads for over 20 years. As tax-paying citizens, we deserve minimal infrastructure to ensure a safe and flourishing community,” the management added.
Nyati Chesterfield’s initiative serves as a model for responsible urban living, combining environmental sustainability with community well-being.
