For the last two weeks, preparations were being made for the demolition of the bridge by the National Highways Authority, District Administration, Police and technical teams through a large system.

The work of removing the debris of the demolished bridge has been started immediately. Traffic in this area will be closed until the work of lifting the debris is completed.

After the bridge at Chandni Chowk in Pune was demolished, the road will be open for traffic till 8 am, the administration said. However, due to the lack of planning by the administration, it has been said that it will be open for traffic by 11 am. However, considering the current situation, the opening of this road is still likely to be delayed. Due to this, queues of heavy vehicles of around 10 kilometres have formed on both sides.
