Pune: One Arrested From Mumbai In Corona Care Center Embezzlement Case

Shivajinagar, 30th April 2023: The Shivajinagar Police has arrested one from Mumbai in connection with the Corona Care Center embezzlement case in Shivajinagar. The arrested person has been identified as Raju Nandkumar Salunkhe (50), a resident of Paral, Mumbai.

 

Senior Police Inspector of Shivajinagar Police Station, Arvind Mane informed that the court ordered to keep Salunkhe in police custody for two days. A case was recently registered against the Director of Life Line Hospital Management Services Sujit Mukund Patkar, Dr Hemant Ramsharan Gupta, Sanjay Madanraj Shah, and Raju Nandkumar Salunkhe. Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) executive engineer Raju Thange (47), filed a complaint at Shivajinagar police station regarding this.

 

Life Line Hospital Management Services Company was given the contract to run the Corona Care Center of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) without any experience. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, former MP Kirit Somaiya demanded that a case be filed against Sujit Patkar, Director of Life Line Hospital Management Services Company.

 

Notably, Patkar is close to Shiv Sena leader, MP Sanjay Raut. On 10th April, Somaiya filed a complaint at the Shivajinagar police station and demanded action against the concerned.
