Pune: ‘One Village-One Ganeshotsav’ Celebrated In Magarpatta City And Nanded City

Pune, 7th September 2022: In the rush of Ganeshotsav of societies and Ganesh Mandals, Magarpatta City and Nanded City, both the well-equipped and perfect cities of Magarpatta City Group are celebrating Ganeshotsav under ‘One Village – One Ganesha’.

Ganeshotsav is the festival where everyone comes together to increase communication and harmony and creates a culture of the city. Interestingly, various festivals including Ganapati festivals have been celebrated in the same way from the very beginning in both these cities. The Pune City Police has also awarded them for organizing a such festival in Magarpatta City.

“Our city management can be defined as a city run by the people, for the people. The citizens who live here form the culture and identity of these cities. Fortunately, both cities have developed here that showcase and represent the diversity and culture of India as a whole,” said Satish Magar, Managing Director, Magarpatta City Group.

A ten-day Ganpati festival has been organized in both Magarpatta City and Nanded City. In this entire Ganeshotsav, about ten thousand families in Magarpatta city and more than twelve thousand families in Nanded city have welcomed the Ganesha.

For this Ganeshotsav, the women’s lazim team, security guard’s drum team working for the security of this city, and youth cymbal team, encouraging participation of young and old in the program are adding more unity and joy to the festival.

Various programs are organized on all ten days of the festival, including painting for children, colouring competitions, dance competitions, orchestra, fashion shows, singing competitions, various art performance programs with the participation of senior citizens, etc.

Discussion sessions on the topic, bhajan program by senior women citizens, dance performance on spiritual and social topics, Satsang on Bhagavad Gita, and bhajan evening are being organized in the evening, in which more than eight to ten thousand citizens participate and enjoy the programs.

Various committees comprising citizens of Magarpatta City and Nanded City are planning all these events and the PMS of both the cities are providing necessary support. Another special feature of this Ganeshotsav can be said that after the Corona lockdown, this Ganeshotsav is being celebrated with a huge response.
