Pune Painter’s Act of Kindness Restores Lost Purse To Woman
Pune, 14th January 2025: A touching act of honesty and compassion was witnessed in Pashan, Pune, when a local painter found and returned a lost purse to a woman who had accidentally dropped it while riding her scooter.
Anuradha Deepak Jagtap, a 37-year-old woman from Dehugaon near the Sports Complex, was on her way to Susgaon from Pashan when she unknowingly dropped her purse near Sai Chowk, Pashan. The purse, containing ₹400 in cash, a mobile phone, an Aadhaar card, a PAN card, and several important documents, was found by Datta Tukaram Gothal, a 55-year-old painter from Mahadev Nagar, Susgaon, Pashan.
Upon discovering the purse, Gothal promptly brought it to the Pashan police station, where officers quickly took action. Police personnel searched for the woman and successfully returned her purse.
