Pune: Parents Of Girl Studying In Ukraine Request Administration To Evacuate Their Daughter And Other Students

Pune, 26th February 2022: The conflict between Ukraine and Russia has hit Indian students hard and thousands of students are stranded in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the parents of Sakshi Borote, who is stranded in Ukraine, have urged the administration to bring her safely back to India.
Sakshi is studying first-year MBBS in Ukraine. Talking to her parents, she said that not only her but all the other students should be brought safely to India by the administration. She also said that the children were having difficulty in buying food items as their ATM cards were not working.
Sakshi’s father Satish Borate said, “My daughter Sakshi is in Ukraine since last year for her medical studies. The dispute between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing. It has had a profound effect on children’s education. My only request to the government is to bring students to India as soon as possible. Children cannot come out of the hostel. Their ATM card does not work anywhere. So they can’t buy food.”
Her mother Sapna Borote said that Sakshi and other students are scared. They should be provided with food and evacuated safely from there.
