Pune, 26th January 2024: Parth Pawar, the son of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and a leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), recently met Gajanan Marne, a notorious goon, in Kothrud two days ago. Parth, accompanied by local leaders of the NCP in Pune, engaged in discussions with Marne, and photos of their meeting quickly went viral on social media, triggering criticism from opposition groups.

The photographs led to immediate backlash, with opponents questioning the nature and purpose of the meeting. In response to the controversy, Ajit Pawar addressed the media today, acknowledging that a serious lapse had occurred, and he is currently gathering information on the matter.

Ajit Pawar stated, “Some party workers took Parth to a house where Marne was present. Such incidents do not usually happen. Once during my political career, a program to welcome Azam Pansare, a controversial figure, was organized by my party workers. However, after this incident, I instructed the police not to allow such persons near us. Regarding this incident with Parth, I will inquire and provide further information.”

Ajit Pawar clarified that he had attended a late-night event in Pune and reached the location directly from there. When questioned about the purpose of the meeting, he responded that he would reveal more details after discussing it with Parth.
