Pune: Passenger Arrested For Biting PMPML Bus Conductor’s Thumb
Pune, 24th December 2022: A passenger was arrested for biting the thumb of a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) bus conductor at Gadital st in the Hadapsar area.
The arrested passenger has been identified as Shivraj Salunkhe (30), a resident of Harpale Vasti, Fursungi. Maruti Balu Sangle (39) has filed a complaint at Hadapsar Police Station, Pune city police.
The bus from NDA to Hadapsar halted at Hadapsar railway station. At that time, the accused Salunke tried to enter the bus. At that time, Sangle told Salunkhe that the bus wanted to leave. Then Salunkhe got angry with conductor Sangle. Salunkhe said the conductor should not try to instruct him as he used to be a PMPML bus driver. Salunkhe abused Sangle and bit his thumb. After that, Salunkhe was caught and handed over to the police. Police sub-inspector Sontakke is investigating.
