Pune: Passenger Killed, Three Injured in Head-On Collision in Katraj

Katraj, 7th February 2025: A passenger was killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a dumper truck and an auto-rickshaw in the Mangdewadi area of Katraj, Pune, on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Arjun Rai.

The complainant, Sarojkumar Ghuran Saday (38) from Bhor taluka, was among the three people injured in the accident. Following the incident, a case has been registered at Ambegaon Police Station against both the dumper driver and the auto-rickshaw driver.

The dumper driver, identified as Kailas Nagtilak from Bhilarewadi, has been named in the police complaint. According to the report, the accident occurred due to reckless driving by both the dumper and auto-rickshaw drivers.
