Pune: PCMC To Conduct Exam In May For 387 Vacancies
Pimpri, 29th April 2023: Online examination will be conducted for 387 vacancies in 15 cadres of ‘B’ and ‘C’ groups in various departments of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration Department Vitthal Joshi informed that the examination will be held in three sessions on 26th, 27th, and 28th May 2023.
After the state government lifted the restrictions on municipal employee recruitment, the administration started the recruitment process. On 13th August 2022, online applications were invited for filling up 387 posts in Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ through direct service entry. Out of 1,30,470 applications received, the applications of 85,771 candidates were scrutinized. So there will be 85,771 examinees for 386 seats.
The reservation of the posts advertised in the advertisement was checked by the Backward Class Cell in the Divisional Commissioner’s office. There has been a change in the vacancy and reservation of some posts. As per the final reservation, the online examination for 387 vacancies in 15 cadres will be held in May.
