Pune: PCMC’s Hearing About Objections and Suggestions About Draft Ward To Take Place On Friday

Pimpri, 22nd February 2022: The commissioner of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), Rajesh Patil, has informed that the hearing related to the issue of objections and suggestions registered about the draft ward will take place on Friday (25 February) at 10 am at Auto Cluster in Chinchwad.

The schedule of this hearing has been published on the official website of PCMC, www.pcmcindia.gov.in.

Anil Kawade, State Commissioner of Co-operation and Registrar of Co-operative Societies, has been appointed by the State Election Commission as the authorized officer and will hear the objections and suggestions received.

The draft ward structure of the PCMC was announced on February 1 as per the instructions of the State Election Commission which contained the draft maps of wards and other instructions approved by the State Election Commission. The citizens were given a deadline till 14 February to put forward their objections and suggestions. A total of 5,684 objections and suggestions were received during the period.

Notice in this regard has also been sent to the people who have raised objections. The objectors who have not received the notice have been asked to get it from PCMC’s main administrative building at Pimpri. The objectors have been instructed to bring with them a copy of the objection form, a copy of the hearing notice, any one of their identity cards, and double vaccination certificate, along with a mask and sanitizer, while going for the hearing.
