Pune: Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Speeding Bus On Nagar Road
Lonikand, 2nd November 2022: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a speeding bus on a Nagar road. Police have registered a case against the bus driver who escaped after the accident. The deceased pedestrian has been identified as Vyankat Srirang Aghav (49), a resident of Parli Vaijnath, District Beed. Maruti Aghav (27) has filed a complaint at the Lonikand police station.
Maruti’s father Vyankat was leaving from Nagar road. Venkat was then hit by a speeding bus in front of the Vithai petrol pump in the Lonikand area. Vyankat, who was seriously injured in the accident, was admitted to the hospital and died before treatment.
The bus driver escaped after the accident and a case has been registered against him. Police personnel CA Mane is investigating the case further.
