Pune: Phulrani Toy Train Restarts Operation In Katraj
Katraj, 2nd February 2023: On 26th January this year, the renowned Phulrani toy train at the Nanasaheb Lake in Katraj began operation following a five-year hiatus. Residents of Pune have undoubtedly developed an emotional bond with Phulrani.
Since beginning operations again, the train has always been full of kids who like riding throughout the park. The toy train’s tracks have been improved and there are now more coaches. Since 27th January, the Phulrani has regularly transported kids and other passengers between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM and 4 PM and 8 PM. It provided the Pune Municipal Corporation with a staggering sum of Rs 31,000 in the five days from 26th January to 31st January.
The MNS Katraj Corporator Vasant More’s efforts, along with the capable assistance of the Pune Municipal Corporation, have been successful. Major improvements have also been made to the Nanasaheb Peshwe Lake, enhancing its beauty.
