Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Police Arrest Two Bangladeshi Nationals Living Illegally in India
Pimpri Chinchwad, 24th January 2025: Two Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in the country have been arrested by Pimpri Chinchwad Police. The action was carried out near Hotel Bhola in Chinchwad by the Pimpri Police.
The accused have been identified as Shohag Sukumar Mujumdar (30) and Suman Gopal Tikadar (35). Police Constable Mohsin Ramjan Shaikh reported the incident to the Pimpri Police Station, where a formal case has been registered.
The accused had concealed their true identities and obtained passports using forged documents, including Aadhaar cards, school leaving certificates, and birth certificates. The operation was conducted jointly by the Anti-Terrorism Branch and Pimpri Police.
