Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Police Bust Prostitution Racket, Accused Accepted Online Booking

Chinchwad, 20th February 2022: The social security cell (SSC) of Pimpri Chinchwad police have busted a gang that took an online booking for prostitution. Three girls have been rescued.

The SSC team had received information that one person identifying himself as Jack has been taking bookings for prostitution on WhatsApp and booked rooms in hotels.

A decoy customer contacted Jack and he was asked to go to Hotel Kamini located on the road between Ahimsa Chowk and SKF company.
After confirmation, police raided the hotel and busted the sex racket on Friday evening. Two girls from Delhi and one from Chhattisgarh were rescued.

An FIR has been registered at Chinchwad police station against two accused Jack and Babul (full details not known) of offences under the relevant sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).

The action was carried out by a team comprising Police inspector Devendra Chavan, Assistant Police Inspector Dr Ashok Dongre, Police Sub-Inspector Shapradipsingh Sisode, Dhairyashil Solanke and police personnel Vijay Kamble, Kishor Padher, Santosh Barge, Nitin Londhe, Bhagwanta Muthe, Amol Sadekar, Jalindar Gare, Vaishnavi Gawde, Rajesh Kokate, Ganesh Karote, Atul Lokhande, Yogesh Tidke, Amol Shinde and Sumit Damal.
