Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash Himself Raids Hookah Parlour On New Year Eve
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 1st January 2022: During the New Year celebrations on December 31st, Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissioner Krishna Prakash raided the open-air H2O hookah parlour in Hinjewadi.
Police recovered thousands of rupees worth of tobacco varieties as well as hookah pots.
“When we received the information, we dispatched our team to the parlour to double-check it. When our men asked for a tobacco hookah in the hotel, they delivered one right away and said it was a tobacco hookah. The accused were selling tobacco hookah under the pretext of herbal hookah”, said the commissioner.
