Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad’s Disability Welfare Schemes Undergo Comprehensive Review Through Door-to-Door Survey

Pimpri, 1st January 2024: The Social Development Department of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is set to conduct a comprehensive door-to-door survey for beneficiaries of various disability welfare schemes. This initiative aims to update and verify the “Life Certificates” of persons with disabilities benefiting from these schemes within the municipal limits.

Key Details of the Survey:

– Survey Period: The survey will be conducted from 26/12/2023 and will span 60 days.
– Beneficiaries: Persons with disabilities registered and benefiting from schemes within the PCMC limits.
– Data Collection: The survey will involve collecting latitude and longitude coordinates and Google tagging by visiting the beneficiaries’ homes.
– Online Registration: Online registration of disabled persons will include face reading, thumb impression, and iris identification (eyes). Disability certificates, Aadhaar cards, UDID cards, voter cards, etc., will be scanned and updated online.
– Information Gathered: The survey will gather details such as the beneficiary’s name, address, Aadhaar number, and mobile number, as well as the full name, address, Aadhaar number, and mobile number of the parents.

Important Instructions for Beneficiaries:

– Address/Mobile Changes: Beneficiaries with changed residential addresses or mobile numbers should promptly submit a written application along with appropriate proof to the head office.
– Survey Conductors: Altwise Pvt. Ltd. has been appointed for the survey, and surveyors with identity cards from the organization will conduct the door-to-door survey.

Document Submission:

– Mandatory Documents: Beneficiaries should submit their original UID card, disability certificate, UDID card, and voter card (for those aged 18 and above). Additionally, voter cards parents, residential address proof, and mobile numbers must be made available during the survey.
