Pimple Gurav, 1st January 2024: In a significant development for commuters, the descending loop from Pimple Gurav to Nashik Phata Chowk, passing through the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and connecting to Pune via the Bharat Ratna JRD Tata flyover, has been reopened for traffic. The loop had been temporarily closed due to the ongoing construction work by Mahametro on Nigdi Dapodi Road.

The closure was a result of the construction activities undertaken by Mahametro, and the loop was inaccessible to traffic during this period. With the successful completion of Mahametro’s work, the loop has now been reopened for public use starting from January 1, 2024.

The reopening event saw the presence of key officials from the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, including Associate City Engineer Pramod Ombhase, Executive Engineer Bapusaheb Gaikwad, Deputy Engineer Vijay Singh Bhosale, and Bhosari Traffic Division Police Inspector Salunkhe.
