Pune: Plan To Loot McDonald’s Outlet Foiled By Police, Three Arrested
Pune 7th July 2023: The police on Thursday foiled a plan to loot McDonald’s outlet in Pune by arresting three accused from the city. The accused identified as Prashant Tikote (22), Rohan Kamble (19) and Ganesh Sasane (24) were nabbed from Samvidhan Chowk area of Wanawadi.
According to police, the accused were planning to loot the outlet located in Wanawadi area. They have also recovered sharp weapons and a car from their possession. A search has been launched to nab the accomplices of the arrested accused and a case has been registered under sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with the relevant sections of the Indian Arms Act. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
