Pune: PM Modi says, “My Government Works On Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” At Dehu

Pune, 14th June 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Jagatguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj temple in Dehu.

 

While addressing the people gathered for the inauguration, he said, “I am fortunate enough to inaugurate the Shila temple today. It is not just a stone, it is a centre of devotion and knowledge. I thank the temple trust and the devotees.”

 

He added, “Dehu is the home of Bhagwan Pandurang and each and every person in Dehu is blessed. The Shila temple of Dehu is not only the centre of devotion for Dehu but also for the country. This Shila is the result of Saint Tukaram’s devotion and knowledge.”

 

Talking about the saints of our country, the PM said, “Our country is celebrating ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. We are proud that we are one of the ancient civilizations and this is only possible because of the saints and gurus. We are what we are because they have guided us throughout the time.”

 

He said, “Saint Tukaram taught us that discrimination among human beings is the greatest sin. Therefore, my government works on the principles of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.”

 

 

 

“Through the Prasad Yojna, the nation will develop along with its people,” he added.

 

 

 

PM Modi said that an amount of Rs 11,000 crore will be spent on two ‘Palkhi Marg’ of 350 km. He said that Sant Tukaram’s abhangs are giving him ‘urja’ and showing him the right direction. The construction of the ‘Palkhi Marg’ was announced in 2017- 18. The foundation stone for the work was laid in November 2021.

 

 

 

On completion of 75 years of independence, he said, “In each district, 75 Amrit sarovars will be created. I humbly request saints to bless it upon completion.”

 

 

 

On the upcoming International Yoga Day, he said, “International Yoga Day is coming. I hope saints will bless the occasion. I believe each and every one of us will celebrate it with enthusiasm.”
