Pune: PM Modi To Visit Dehu On June 14 For Inauguration Of Shila Temple

Pune, 9th June 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Dehu on June 14 for the inauguration ceremony of Jagatguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj idol, Shila Mandir. The inauguration will be done at the hands of the Prime Minister.

For PM’s security, Director General of Police Rajneesh Seth, Commissioner of Police Ankush Shinde and other officials inspected the Shila temple and the main temple area. Also, a large police force was appointed for the security task. The inspection and preparations were carried out for the arrival of the Prime Minister.

Acharya Tushar Bhosale along with Dehu Sansthan’s trustees met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi a few days ago. PM Modi accepted their invitation to visit Dehu. Soon after that, Bhosale announced through Twitter that Modi would be visiting Dehu on June 14.

The Palkhi ceremony of Saint Tukaram Maharaj will start on 20th June. The ceremony wasn’t held for the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The festival has been organized this year and it will be celebrated with enthusiasm.
