Pune: PMC Demolishes Illegal Construction Of 25,000 Sq Ft In Yewalewadi, Many Shops And Hotels Bulldozed
Kondhwa, 20th December 2022: The building permission department of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) took action against the unauthorized construction of hotels and other commercial establishments at Khadi Machine Chowk, Yewalewadi, and the construction of 25,111 square feet was demolished.
The said action was taken by issuing a notice under Section 53 (1) (A) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, on unauthorized construction.
In this action, 1,076 sq ft of Hotel Moury Veg, 1,937 sq ft of Hotel Rajthat, 1,291 sq ft of Hotel Royal Shetkari, 161 sq ft of Asmita Drycleaners and Fresh Vegetable And Fruits each, 430 sq ft area of Hotel Ritsar Potbhar Khanawal, Vighnaharta Misal House, Lachhoba Shop, Kanifnath Juice Center, Shri Sadguru Vadewale each, 2,421 sq ft of Hotel Yermala Veg Non-Veg, 538 sq ft of MK Enterprises, 861 sq ft of Caring Paints, 322 sq ft area of Yash Collection, Mahalakshmi Traders, Chaitanya Snacks/Amruttulya, Rinku Fashion, Magic Collection, Union Hardware each, 430 sq ft of Swami Samarth Snacks, 322 sq ft of Desi Liquor Shop, 968 sq ft of Baramati Cooperative Bank, 322 sq ft of Shree Sai Video Game Parlor, 1,076 sq ft of Hotel Tushar, 3,229 sq ft of Sodhi Nan House, 1,076 sq ft of Bismillah Caters, Ikiz Amruttutlya’s 645 sq ft, 322 sq ft area of Shree Sainath Auto Garage, Bismillah Three Star Mutton Shop and M Power Tools each, Shree Sai Bike Point 1,076 sq ft; a total area of 25,111 sq ft was cleared.
The operation was carried out with the help of two JCBs, one gas cutter along with daily wage workers and police personnel.
