Pune: PMC Demolishes Illegal Constructions And Encroachments At Hotel Ranjeet, Hippie@Heart And 3 Musketeers On Bhandarkar Road

Deccan, 3rd August 2023: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) took decisive action today, removing encroachments spanning approximately 3000 square feet around the prominent Hotel Ranjeet, as well as at Hippie@Heart and 3 Musketeers establishments on Lane 10 off Bhandarkar Road, Pune. This action was necessitated by a series of complaints lodged with the encroachments and Hotel Ranjeet.
According to PMC officials, the encroachment at Hotel Ranjeet involved the enclosure of the parking lot with brick construction, resulting in the cars being parked on the road. Additionally, various businesses had taken over the side margin (3 Musketeers) and front margin parking area (Hippie@Heart). Moreover, the hotel’s roof was being used for commercial purposes with an unauthorized shed constructed. Numerous complaints were brought to the attention of the building development department of the Municipal Corporation, highlighting violations of building regulations in these businesses.
Consequently, the department responded today by dismantling the unauthorized structures at the location, with Junior Engineer Sunil Kadam overseeing the operation.
