Pune: PMC Demolishes Unauthorised 5-Storey Building In Shivane
Khadakwasla, 9th October 2021: The officials from the building department of Pune Municipal corporation (PMC) on Friday demolished an unauthorised five-storey building in Deshmukhwadi in Shivane.
The drive was launched under the guidance of Shreekant Waydande, executive engineer of PMC’s building department.
To demolish the building, a J cutter Machine, two JCBs, two breakers, and a gas cutter were used. Also, 100 officials including 12 police personnel, 15 labourers of PMC, officers from Waraje Malwadi and Uttamnagar were present at that time.
Uttamnagar station’s police inspector Sunil Jaitapurkar said, “An anti-enrichment drive was planned at five places at Survey no.97 at Shivane. Accordingly, 100 personnel were appointed for this drive as per instructions from the senior officers.’’
