Pune: PMC Demolishes Unauthorized Constructions In Kondhwa, Undri, Dhankawadi; FIRs Also Being Registered

Pune, January 19, 2021: To inspect the unauthorized constructions in the area of Kondhwa Khurd (new boundary) and to file a case under Section 52 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 against the developer/owner, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has formed a team under the supervision of executive engineer of zone 2.

The team under Executive Engineer Namdev Gambhire is also coordinating with the building inspectors and deputy engineers in the respective areas and 25 employees have been appointed for the purpose.

Based on a complaint from PMC, an FIR has been registered against Uzer Syed, Sarfaraz Khan, Dada Gaikwad and FF Pathan for illegal construction at survey number 46.

Also in Dhankawadi action was taken by giving notice under Section 53 (1) (a) of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1966, for unauthorized construction. This action was taken on Sanjay Mane’s 20 sq ft at survey no. 37, Mandakini Agwane’s 300 sq ft at survey no. 30 and Amit Kajgar’s 30 sq ft at survey no. 30.

In Mauje Undri, the action was taken against three unauthorized building construction at survey no. 43, Wadachiwadi Road, out of 11 newly included villages, through Construction Development Department Zone 1.

The actions were taken under the guidance of Executive Engineer Namdev Gambhire by Deputy Engineer Dattatraya Chavan, Junior Engineer Anup Gajjalwar, Prashant Kadam, Rajaram Jadhav and their teams.
